light never hesitates to beam

"buddha stood like the mountain, untouched by all seasons,
winter, spring, summer, and autumn." romio shrestha

untouched by contrasts of
attraction & aversion, heat & cold
healing has a chance to muster

light.. never hesitating to beam;
because once seen through
a small speck of peripheries

there is no turning back
to rolling hills of endless snow,
or an unchanging verdant green

impossible as it does seem---
the outside view can be slowed
to such a point, as to reveal

the temporary allegories: how oranges peel,
how all things that burst, sustain life--
marveling at the flight of pushing through

the birthing of sorts, performed
outside, and within; how we, in
an open-air theatre spoke, & flew

danced with, those who worship
beyond the edges of daylight savings
time; stretching the pulse points

how our veins return the blood,
allowing our arteries to spill red again;
how in spring, the clouds do (once again) rain
