a book, an experience, a life..

“A book must be an ice-axe to break the seas frozen inside our soul.”
~ Franz Kafka

the ice left untouched
maintains the mask, while
to mindfully break the logos
allows us to slip

below the hardened chill
as fish find warm liquid life
below the sheen, spiritus
sings prayers of elevating

all souls break out in song
we remember the words from
previous lifetimes, conducted
by clouds, as monks travel

lightly through the sky being
so close to mountain tops
ringing purplish pinks
sudden awakening

every thing touched
& felt to be blazening
re-defining what it means
to be simply amazing
