thunder coursed through the mountain

"sing goddam, tis why i am/and how the wind doth roam"
~ Ezra Pound

thunder coursed through the mountain
lightning, quickly shone
bells and chimes struck
odd but pleasing tones

wind blew crazy riffs-
and the blessed rain
poured sentient songs
cool cat slipped out

on rain soaked grass,
swept a sacred dance
as summer peeked through:
lassoed in lace--bluebird flew!
