a quote is just a landmark
Anything I can not transform
into something marvelous,
I let go.
~Anaïs Nin
a quote is just a landmark-
a touch stone of what could be
and for me-
i allow
the goodness of everything
to pour through me
in my out breath
i release all that
does not serve
my highest good;
no one can tell anyone
what is goodness for them
we must sweat our questions
diving through the depths
of oftentimes murky
algae rich ponds
hanging out in dark environs
with little light and oxygen
before we know what exactly
we need to be more than just
surviving; a barefoot modern
choreography- danced with
our heart hanging out of our chest
a song sung up to father sky
and down to mother earth
never ever getting rest
until we know
an emerald radiance
beams through eyes,
and a sweet softening
in the center of our chest
with a breath
so pure and light
we no longer need
to fight the fight
peace reigns supreme
we return to a slow adagio
dancing with a balanced being
through the often cavernous
paths that lead our hungry
souls to sip at the nectar
waiting for us to catch up
and there appears
a set of hands
to stroke our crown,
until the bumps
of our brave diving
are made more smooth
we strike a leap of balance
integrating all the voices:
relaxing the pushes and pulls
hearing the yang, imploring action
hearing the yin, to quiet and to quell
and to go within....
for all the riches lay
where in spirit
we, in kindness do sway
