i woke up to the apricot moon
i woke up to the apricot moon
just opened the western facing window
the coal black sky at 3 am
after a few quick clicks
of the camera's shutter
the rain came down
in a gentle
feather of tears---
how she mirrors me
even when i sleep--
how fine
the secrets she does keep--
how we continue to rise,
hit hard ground
how we continue to go round
as the many phases &
the many faces
of the now apricot moon
silencing any need
to know another earthly thing
i surrender to her blessing(s)
