it is not just the blue of the sky

it is not just the blue of the sky,
the green of the moss, nor the brown
of the decaying leaves mixing
with the earth's rich sweet acrid

fragrance---but it is also
how they intertwine
in our experience of meeting
each one-- both separate,

and stirred-- with all who choose
to simply take the time to push
through the boundaries of bamboo:
mind's insistence of division

gently spilling separative strands
on the path we walk upon
creating new synapses to celebrate
pushing ever so gently, daring, deep

through the woods, on fire
with her ability to inspire--allowing
all who trust, to wear peaceful wings
becoming our orchestrations- amidst all things
