Genuine friendship. How does it reveal itself?

Trust is necessary in true friendships. I trust you show up on your own steam, as I show up on my steam and honor our cooperative spirit.

If I do something to trigger anger in a friend-- that is her responsibility to clear it up,
not mine.

How invested someone is in the friendship reflects how vast their patience in waiting to
talk about it. If anyone is ready to dismiss the friendship when one thing happened to anger them, there seems to have been a lot less investment in the friendship.

So called friend says, "I was being nice"...and...."I am done being nice."
Hmm, maybe they never even liked the other or considered the other a friend.
After mutual sharing of personal things? Then calls you crazy for doing a litany
of things, including sharing feelings that were never voiced previously.

If invested in the friendship, those feelings should have been aired, not buried. This tends to be how grudges set in and build up. Bottled rage, when agitated will pour venom on whomever happens to be on their radar. Then blame you!

Name calling is old school bullying by those who were most likely bullied as children. Knowing this offers a greater ability to be compassionate. However,  I refuse to take responsibility for another's inability to be accountable for their spoken words and actions and blaming, as well as mis- interpreting. No more blame game.

Since I was a teen, I used to think and say more often than I care to say."My biggest fear is being mis-understood." That theme continues every day of my life. I have
chosen to change the vibe of fear
into one of love.
.
I learned to love my fear so terribly that flowers of hisbiscus and poppy grew
where arrid soil once was.
A eureka moment blossoms.

Each time we reframe fear into one of love and compassion.

Blessings all..xo kat
