let's meet beyond thoughts

that weigh down the summer air

can we be silent together for just five minutes,

simply breathe the warm summer air-

 

 listen to the nesting birds

who move here more quietly than usual

 

let's just sit together, simply breathe
the warm moist gusts, 

 

dancing over the lake at dawn- 

the peace crocheting our souls more tightly together-

 

each of us, one beautiful spark, among the whole bonfire-
shining a powerful, and lasting peace!
